PEX Series 4-Inch Performance Print Engine - This innovative print engine is designed for years of reliability, ease of use, and cost-conscious serviceability. It is designed for simple integration that can be easily integrated into just about any print and apply environment.
Designed for ease of integration, the PEX Series features a bolt-compatible construction with a commonly used GPIO interface and an easy to use color display. The PEX Series offers simple integration into both new and existing label application installations. It is ideal for manufacturing and logistic applications where high speed and high demand label printing is required.
Even when printing very small, the TSC PEX-1000 Series stands for fast printing. The label printers precisely create the smallest labels of 5 mm, and at an incredible speed of up to 475 mm/sec. All the models feature RS-232 and Ethernet ports, are programmable (thanks to GPIO) and have a front USB 2.0 port that allows users to easily install label
printing or firmware updates. Optionally, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 a/b/g/n are available.
Multiple sensors ensure for good performance and precise printing, among others an adjustable sensor for label gaps, and one for reflecting marks (black mark). They are also equipped with a 32-bit RISC processor, 512 MB of Flash memory and 512 MB SDRAM. Plus, the printers have a microSD Flash memory card slot for a Flash expansion up to 32 GB.
The design of the TSC PEX-1000 label printers also servers to support high user-friendliness. The USB host is located on the front of the device, making the display of layouts or a Firmware via a USB stick, or the input of external data via a USB keyboard, easier. On the rear you will find a practical drawer for quick access to the parts requiring maintenance.
