TSC PEX-1001 Industrial Print & Apply Printer Modules

TSC PEX-1001 Industrial Print & Apply Printer Series print modules combines a precise printing mechanism and powerful high-performance electronics with robust die-cast aluminum housing - just right for the demanding areas of industry, production, transportation & logistics or, when it comes to medication labeling, even for healthcare. To better meet the demands of these different industries, the print modules have been developed with a special focus on reliability, high user-friendliness and high-quality, fast label printing.

The PEX-1121 and PEX-1221 models impress with a very high print speed of 457 mm/sec. at a resolution of 203 dpi. The PEX-1131 and PEX-1231 models, which are up to 356 mm/sec. at 300 dpi, offer a well-balanced relationship between speed and resolution. With 600 dpi at 152 mm/sec., the PEX-1161 and PEX-1261 models achieve the highest print resolution. At the same time, all printer models process labels up to 104 mm wide and use thermal transfer or direct thermal printing, depending on the requirement.

Additionally, the PEX-1001 Series print modules feature high-precision label detection, which is even suitable for labels up to 5 mm high. Various sensors detect even the smallest label gap. Thanks to their modular design with a »drawer compartment« on the rear, the modules are also very simple and quick to maintain.

Other features of the PEX-1001 Series include a 32-bit RISC CPU, 512 MB SDRAM, 512 MB flash and a USB slot for optionally usable device memory (FAT32). The 3.5" TFT touch display with a clear status indication and a 6-key control panel ensure user-friendly operation. The powerful interface selection, in turn, ensures reliable data transfer and quick integration. It consists of USB 2.0, a USB host, RS-232, Ethernet and GPIO (DB15F), as well as an optional combination module of Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
