Sublimation or pigmented ink

High UV and water resistance
The sublimation ink black prints on almost all labels matt or satin and labels with different surface refinements. However, compared to pigmented ink, the sublimation process is less resistant to UV radiation and water.
Pigmented ink offers a better contour sharpness, contrast and high UV and water resistance, though it does not dry on all glossy materials. Before you order larger amounts of labels it is recommended to test this.
Ink cartridges for Primera LX800/810e printers are available as multicolour CMY cartridges or black to react fexibly to the different requirements of various applications. On the other hand the LX400e only requires the CMY cartridges. The colour black is reproduced by combining these three colours.
