REA Verifiers are world wide in use for barcode and Matrix code verifications. REA TransWin32 is the central control software to acquire, visualize, store and print verification reports. REA TransWin32 can be used on a typical MS Windows operated standard PC.

REA Verifiers can be connected by standard network cables to a company network and be controlled by one or several REA TransWin32 installations. REA TransWin32 can be installed with one license on several PCs. Reports are sent by a standard TCP/IP protocol from the verifier to the PC.

The user friendly visualization allows seeing the result, symbology and coding content immediately. Results are available for immediate use in incoming, outgoing goods control and print process control.

Verification reports are sent by TCP/IP to TransWin32. The report view shows symbology, code content and the final result. This allows immediate reaction in production, incoming and outcoming goods control.

Each error gets an own error message to simplify analysis and error removal. Corresponding results are also highlighted in red Comments, user addresses and verifier device details can be added to each verification report.

REA Product Database 32 adds an additional feature to a REA verification  device – a database query function
Product numbers that are read are translated into a plain text description. This function allows an increased control of the codes to verify that the correct codes are on the packaging material and confi rms that the date infor mation (e. g. best-before date) matches the print and product number.

Basic Functions  
The best-before date of the product can be displayed and verifi ed. Up to fi ve different date information for each product can be individually stored in the database. Product variations with identical EAN numbers can be differentiated by a version attribute (identical product from different suppliers, very similar products). Coupons from customer loyalty programs without barcodes can be included with a visual inspection in quality control.

The portable REA testing equipment can integrate the database and at the same time work independently from the PC. The database function can be included in the ISO/IEC 15416 analysis as an additional evaluation parameter. Products that are not found lead to a failed result. Incorrectly coded date information also lead to a failed result.
