Omnidirectional scanning in minimal space, with the speed of a laser scanner and the performance of an imager are its most powerful arguments. It comes standard with the ability to read all 1D and GS1 codes via upgrades, it can also read 2D codes. Or select the 2D model from the beginning. Thanks to imaging technology, it does not require the moving components of a laser scanner, which helps reduce damage and breakdowns to a minimum. Software customisation is a breeze thanks to the USB interface and integrated microSD card reader, while users simply connect an additional hand-held scanner via RS232. The compact stainless steel construction is extremely robust, whereby the Magellan ensures flexible installation and performs its professional duties for many years to come. Helpful features include the green LED, which signals a successful scan, as well as the automatic standby mode for longer periods of inactivity.
