The 65/90 light scanner accurately reads all established bar codes with a high-resolution CCD scan engine. Its extremely high scan rate of 256 scans per second allows for outstanding scans, even with badly printed or damaged bar codes. Although equipped with a sturdy, scratch-resistant ABS plastic housing, the Touch series scanners weigh under 200 g and provide the usual high ergonomic quality of Datalogic devices. The user is notified of a successful scan with either an LED indicator or an adjustable beeper. Integrated data formatting and editing functions allow the user to adapt all collected data to any format required by the used application.

The Touch-Light series has two interface configurations one version with dual-interface KBW and RS232, and one version with USB-interface. Please remember to also order the connection cables required for you system. The correct interface is simply activated by replacing the cable and through easy configuration of the interface type.

Another important feature of the Touch series is the patented Puzzle Solver technology by Datalogic. In this process, decoding is not simply completed after a scan, but rather fragments from several scans are connected together to form a complete whole before being transferred to the host. This feature significantly increases the number of positive reads and speeds up data collection, especially in retail and logistics.

Another variant of the touch series is the CCD scanner Touch-Pro. These devices offer the same high performance of the Light series, but feature a multiple interface. This means you not only have a keyboard interface and RS232 available, but at the same time a USB. Merely by changing the connection cable you can attain previously unknown flexibility with your scanner. The Pro series is also equipped with integrated flash memory in order to install specific firmware for individual customer configurations.
