Omni-directional scanner for extreme bar code scanning
For all 1D and PDF417 composite bar codes PDF, RSS, GS1 DataBar
Futuristic designed housing
590x22 raster scan lines, rotating
Future-proof through firmware upgrades
The elegant eye-catching design fits perfectly into exquisite environments that are standard in up-market textile and consumer goods retail, such as boutiques, jewellers, opticians, HiFi and electronics and various specialist shops. The slim housing holds a fully functional omni-directional scanner that reads bar codes from any direction at high speed. A speed of 590x22 scan lines per second mean that the device is exceptionally fast, and even badly printed, torn or uneven bar codes are successfully scanned instantly.
The Cyclone not only recognises all commercial 1D bar codes, but also various composite bar codes RSS Codes, PDF and GS1 DataBar. Another innovative feature is the available choice of optimised field of view types for specific applications. In order to recognise all bar codes instantly, the Cyclone features a rotating omni-directional scan raster pattern. This helps to recognise even damaged bar codes instantly, as the field of view covers all of the scanned area. This raster scan pattern, which recognises bar codes in all directions, is suitable for all typical applications with bar codes and goods. Using the semi raster pattern the user aligns the scanner according to the pattern to get optimised read-outs of damaged, uneven or dirty bar codes. Using the high-density scan line the scanner can even read high-density bar codes with extremely high resolution.
