Whether monochrome or full-colour, the retransfer technology cards prints not only borderless formats, but also in bright colours and pin-sharp quality 304dpi. The automatically applied carrier foil protects the print image from abrasion or manipulation, guaranteeing a large range of different media. An advantage of this technology is the minimal wear and tear of the printhead, which is why Zebra provides a life-long warranty for this consumable. Diverse card surfaces such as smartcards or non-PVC cards are professionally printed using this process and the intelligent i-series media technology. Customers use either the CardSense single option or the card feeder, automatically inserting and producing up to 150 cards. A 64 MB memory and a fast USB and Ethernet interface ensures smooth processing, while the optionally integrated magnetic stripes, smart cards, or RFID card encoders additionally expand the functionality.
