Our slot reader for magnetic stripe cards greatly expands the PDAs range of applications. The Promag MSR-123 magnetic stripe reader rounds out our range of mobile data collection devices. It offers the mentioned features for product control and personal data collection using RFID or bar code scanning - plus space-saving on-site customer identification.
Simply insert the reader into the CF slot of your PDA and install the drivers using data synchronisation from your PC. All required drivers are included with the device. Customer or credit card data is collected quickly and in mobile operation - a modest weight of less than 50 g and a size of 55x35x35 mm WxDxH while inserted makes this possible. The device writes all read data directly into the keyboard buffer, so all information appears immediately in the position of the cursor. You do not have to worry about any limitations, as the Promag MSR-123 is capable of reading all three tracks of a magnetic card.O
