The Getac E100, weighing only 1.4 kg, is one of the lightest, yet robust tablet PCs worldwide. It is very user-friendly and was developed specifically for use outside the office. The construction of this PC not only meets the high expectations of field work, installation, production and logistics, its components are suited to each the E100 tablet PC has a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor, 2 GB RAM and a vibration-resistant 80 GB SATA SSD for data and system. Despite its performance, this machine does not require a fan. Another handy feature its 21.3 cm 8.4 SVGA-TFT monitor, with transmissive technology and integrated touch screen. Thanks to its high-performance QuadraClear technology, you can read the screen even in direct sunlight. For even more demanding users, the E100 also comes with optional 800 Nits LCD monitor with background lighting. Working in dark surroundings is a piece of cake, with LED background lighting for the menu controls and keypad.

In addition to its many ergonomical data-entry options, the user will also find various standard interfaces available for data transfer Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n, USB, RS232 and Bluetooth 2.1, as well as lockable PCMCIA slot type II and intelligent card reader. Optional GPS and a Gobi2000 broadband module are available for usage of 3G applications. The E100 is therefore capable of supporting all 3G standards around the globe, and guarantees flexible travelling possibilities and high data security during transfer.

The Getac tablet PC arrives with Windows 7 Professional pre-installed. An extremely large array of applications awaits you, as well as easy integration into existing infrastructures and systems. In the transport sector, its user-friendliness, high ergonomics and access to known tools are especially attractive. The integrated Intel graphics card ensures uninterrupted work and top quality, without straining the PCs resources. Its intelligent battery management system optimizes not only its usage, but it also contains a special hot swapping capable battery design, which extends its operating time - a real plus for the mobility of sales force.

The E100 and its accessory components comply not only with the various demands of logistics and production, but also for emergency management services, emergency response services, fire departments and police forces, who must spend longer periods of time in their vehicles. One of its numerous accessories worth mentioning is its vehicle docking station, which is easily installed in various vehicle types. Its special GPS and WWAN HF antenna ensures exact location and optimal wireless transfer, since signals are neither blocked nor interrupted.
