The Promag TR-510 time clock terminal is intended for small to medium-sized enterprises that need to record working hours fast and cost-effectively but still professionally. To use the device connect it to a PC or notebook using a serial cable. A 9V AC adaptor for the power supply is included in the package. The provided setup software is used to set all communication parameters over the serial interface - a double-click is enough to initiate the setup. Use the setup also to configure relay time and switches (acoustic signals, door control units, etc.), to set parameters for fixed events (like event "IN" only within 08:00-10:00, event "OUT" only within 17:45-19:30), database administration and to set intervals or individual time frames for data transmission. The terminal features a larger than-average memory (8,200 registrations) and is for this reason also suited to serve larger enterprises with more employees. The TR-510 is intended for wall installation. A provided drilling template makes installation easy. You can even install the unit upside down, if easy and ergonomic use requires to do so. Both, unit labelling and display can be turned by 180 degrees - the display simply requires additional setup configuration and labels are includes with the unit. Once installed, the TR-510 offers easy-to-use time clock recording non-stop: An employee uses his card to register at the terminal and chooses an event (e.g. IN and OUT). For every registration, the unit creates a new data base entry in its internal memory. This entry contains the unit ID, card information, event name as well as date and time.
For different requirements we offer this device in three versions with different reading units: A bar code scanner, a slot reader for magnetic cards or an RFID reader for contactless registration of transponder tags. Data transmission commences in fixed intervals or according to schedule. The unit can either use CSV files or ASCII text files to save its data. This keeps further data processing simple on any system. Optionally, the setup software offers a useful email function that can forward incoming data automatically to Microsoft Outlook for sending it to a recipient of your choice.
Provided with the unit are the TR-510 software manager, two display masks, two connection cables, one installation kit, an AC adaptor and a drilling template.
