TSL 1134 LF RFID Reader for Zebra MC55/MC65/MC67 Mobile Computers
TSL 1134 Low Frequency RFID Reader for Symbol/Motorola/Zebra MC55/MC65/MC67 Mobile Computers - This
TSL 1134 Low Frequency RFID Reader for Symbol/Motorola/Zebra MC55/MC65/MC67 Mobile Computers - This
snap-on peripheral provides the Motorola™ MC55, MC65 and MC67 with dual
LF support at 125kHz and 134.2kHz. The LF RFID reader is powered from
the Motorola terminal and houses both the RFID reader and the antenna.
The reader provides the Motorola MC55/65/67 with Low Frequency (LF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) functionality. The LF RFID 1134 attaches as a snap-on to the Motorola terminal and houses both the RFID reader and the antenna. The reader supports a wide variety of LF transponders, including those compatible with the ISO 11784, ISO 11785 and ISO 18000-2. All power for the reader is supplied by the Symbol/MotorolaZebra terminal, with the reader designed to minimise current consumption and maximise terminal run time.
The Symbol Motorola Zebra MC55/65/67 retains the original laser barcode
functionality as well as the original communications platform housed
within the terminal. The reader remains compatible with existing
MC55/65/67 accessories such as the single slot cradle and car charger.
The
LF RFID reader provides the ability to read and write to a wide variety
of manufacturer specific transponders including NXP (Philips) HITAG, EM
Microelectronic and Texas Instruments.
All power for the
reader is supplied by the Motorola terminal, with the reader
designed to minimise current consumption and maximise terminal run time.
The
host terminal retains full barcode and wireless LAN functionality.
Flash upgradeability of the RFID reader firmware provides future
proofing of the reader. The data output from the RFID reader may be
simply incorporated into a Pocket PC application using the software
Development Kit (SDK). The Reader is available individually or as
an Explorer kit containing the reader, sample RFID tags and a
Software Development Kit (which includes a demonstration
application, the source code for that application and full
API documentation).
Features: Low Frequency RFID reading & writing Supports
reading and writing (when supported by the transponder) to Low
Frequency RFID tags, including those compatible with industry standards
ISO 11784, ISO 11785 and ISO 18000-2
Compatibility The reader remains compatible with existing Symbol/Motorola/Zebra MC55/MC65/MC67 accessories such as the single slot cradle and car charger
Connectivity USB
and MC55/65/67 charge connections are brought through to the base of
the LF RFID reader to allow charging and ActiveSync over USB with the
Reader attached
Applications • Logistics • Authentication • Animal Tagging • Time and Attendance
Please
note: Use of this snap-on with the MC65 requires OEM OS version
2.40.0211 or higher – please update terminal before using accessory.
